Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Nakamura Travels LLC

At Nakamura Travels LLC, we strive to deliver excellent service, but please note that most of our airline tickets, hotel bookings, tour packages, and service fees are non-refundable after booking. All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email only. We may consider refund requests only if all the following conditions are met:

  1. You have submitted a cancellation and refund request to us in writing;
  2. The fare rules of the airline, hotel, or other service provider permit cancellation and refund;
  3. You are not a "no show" (most “no show” bookings are not eligible for refunds);
  4. We are able to secure a waiver from the suppliers (airlines, hotels, etc.) to allow the refund process to move forward.

We cannot guarantee a specific time frame for refund processing. All requests are handled in the order they are received. Upon receiving your request, we will acknowledge it via email with a tracking/reference number. Please note this is not a confirmation of eligibility or approval—it is merely an acknowledgment of receipt.

Once your request is submitted, our support team will coordinate with the relevant suppliers (airlines, hotels, etc.) to determine whether a refund or waiver can be applied, based on their terms and conditions. The final refund approval is entirely dependent on the supplier’s decision, and we have no authority to expedite this process.

If a refund is approved by the supplier, it may still take an additional 60–90 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for the amount to appear in your credit card or bank statement.

Important Notes:

  • Our original service fees and booking charges are non-refundable.
  • All refunds are subject to supplier penalties.
  • Nakamura Travels LLC will also charge a post-ticketing service fee, applicable per person/per ticket or per transaction, only if a refund is approved and processed.
  • If the supplier does not authorize a refund, our post-ticketing service fees will be refunded to you (if already charged), but our booking fees remain non-refundable.
  • Online payment gateway or transaction charges are also non-refundable.

In case of unforeseen events such as airline/supplier bankruptcy or operational shutdowns, if refunds become impossible or highly unlikely, Nakamura Travels LLC will not be held liable and cannot be pursued for the refund.

Compassion Exception Policy (CEP)

As part of our CEP, we offer special considerations and discounts to:

  • U.S. Military personnel
  • Bereavement cases
  • Natural disaster-affected travelers
  • Customers with visual impairments
  • Senior citizens
  • Youth travelers

Cancellation Procedure

For security reasons, cancellations must be submitted only from the registered email address used during booking. Cancellations via phone or chat will not be accepted. Once our team receives your cancellation request, we will send a confirmation email to the same registered address. If you cannot access your registered email, we may not be able to fulfill your request.
